PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a neurokinin A antagonist of tachykinins, useful for treating cough, pain, blood flow obstruction, hives, and the like. SOLUTION: As cyclic hexapeptide and octapeptide compounds, cyclo[Leu-Arg-Trp-Gly-Leu-Arg-Trp-Gly], cyclo[Tyr-Trp-Leu-Arg-Nal-Gly] (wherein, Nal is naphthylalanine), and the like are confirmed their antagonism by using conventional competitive binding, biochemical assays and conventional physiological testings.
