A centering structure of a driver air bag module is provided to remove imbalance of an exterior view by making the air bag module automatically situated to the right position when the air bag module is pushed and then is returned to the original position. A centering structure of a driver air bag module comprises a guide bolt guiding and restricting rectilinear movement of the air bag module; a horn-upper plate(7) connected integrally with the air bag module, to function as a moving contact point of a horn switch; a horn-lower plate(9) fixed to a steering wheel by the guide bolt; an insulator(11) moving together with the horn-upper plate; a slant depressed part(17) arranged to the upper side of a caliber part of the insulator; and a slant protruded part(19) formed to the guide bolt correspondently to the slant depressed part of the insulator. The horn-lower plate functions as a fixed contact point of the horn switch to operate a horn by coming in contact with the horn-upper plate. The insulator is installed between the horn-upper plate and the guide bolt, to enable electric insulation between the horn-upper plate and the guide bolt. |
