<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device performing one-side printing in a manner that prevents a print on a surface side from becoming unclear due to a print on a reverse side that is seen through. <P>SOLUTION: When a photograph 71 with a light background is printed by one-side printing using a relatively thin plain paper sheet 68, a halftone uniform color contact-printed image 72 is automatically printed on the reverse side of the plain paper sheet 68. The halftone contact-printed image 72 may be a light halftone 25% in the percentage of printing, and a halftone using a black toner is much better. Consequently even if a paper printed with a contrasty image is placed underneath, the light background of the photograph 71 printed on the plain paper sheet 68 or the light color portion of a photograph 69 of a child will not make the photograph 71 as a whole unclear by making the contrasty image underneath to be seen through. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
