<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor capable of suppressing dispersion in detecting characteristics of a sensor which may be produced in each product of the optical sensor, while using a surface mounting type element capable of realizing a lower cost and a smaller space than the conventional lead type element. <P>SOLUTION: The optical sensor includes a resin case 42 blocking off light, a light-emitting element 31, and light receiving element 32 or 33 receiving reflected wave light when the incident light emitted from the light-emitting element 31 is reflected by an object to be irradiated. Therein, at least either of the light-emitting element 31 and light-receiving elements 32 is a surface mounting type element mounted on the surface of a substrate, and a light sensor having at least one diaphragm between the object and the light-emitting element 31 or the light-receiving elements 32, is made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
