WORKFLOW SYSTEM, AND WORK SEGMENTATION METHOD IN WORKFLOW SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To proceed, when a part of work is completed in a certain step but all the work is not completed, to the next step for the part of work without stopping a workflow in execution.

SOLUTION: The workflow is redefined by inserting a first additional work process having the same work content as a current work process and using the same worker as that of the current work process and also by inserting a second additional work process having the same work content as the next process and using an arbitrary worker in between the current work process in which its work is being executed when detecting a split directive and the next process of its subsequent process. A logical folder with a reference pointer to information to be processed registered is split into a portion to be passed to the first additional work process and a portion to be passed to the second additional work process.
