DISPLAY DRIVING DEVICE, DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVE CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driving device making each light emission element perform light emitting operations with appropriate luminance gradation according to display data irrespective of variation of light emission characteristics of each display pixel by variation of external environment and temporal change, and thus, to provide a display device successfully displaying image information and a drive control method thereof.

SOLUTION: The display device 100A is equipped with: a display panel 110A on which a plurality of display pixels having organic EL elements OEL are arranged like a matrix; a gate driver 120 which sequentially applies scanning signals Vscan to a scanning line SL; a data driver 130 which supplies tone signal voltage Vdata according to the display data to a data line DL; and a compensation control circuit 140A which measures specific quantity (light emission luminance) relevant to light emission characteristics of the organic EL elements OEL of each display pixel and compensates the display data.
