<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of examination and to reduce the burden of an operator by easily superimposing and displaying desired related data on trend data. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing part 50 generates B-mode image data or doppler spectrum image data from ultrasonic receiving signals using an ultrasonic probe 20 and a transmitting/receiving part 40. A measuring part 7 performs various measurements based on these image data in time series. A trend data generating part 8 generates trend data using the measured values in time series, and displays the trend data in a display part 9.
