PROCESSING METHOD OF FIBER FOR RUBBER REINFORCEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent method for processing a fiber for rubber reinforcement for the bonding of a synthetic fiber to a rubber without using an epoxy compound.

SOLUTION: The processing method of a fiber for rubber reinforcement comprises the treatment of the fiber with a pretreating agent containing a polyhydric alcohol, a blocked polyisocyanate having a functionality of≥3 and a rubber latex and the treatment of the product with a post-treating agent containing a blocked polyisocyanate and a rubber latex. Preferably, the polyhydric alcohol has a functionality of≥3 or is an aliphatic alcohol.
