PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which does not need a new casing when the number of displayed characters is to be changed and which does not fall down by force of wind. SOLUTION: The device is provided with: display bodies 2 having a plurality of phosphors 11 which are separately arranged on a straight line and having the casings supporting and surrounding the phosphors 11; and supporting bodies 16 and 17 supporting a plurality of the display bodies 2 arranged in a right-angled direction of the straight line. The supporting bodies 16 and 17 support the display bodies 2 so that a plurality of display units 3, 21, 22 and 23 which are formed of a plurality of the display bodies 2 and display one character, align in the right-angled direction of the straight line.
