PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display device having constitution capable of securing safety and also making a color reproduction range wide and a display picture bright. SOLUTION: The picture display device 10 is equipped with 1st picture display systems 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 displaying pictures by using a laser beam as a light source and 2nd picture display systems 21, 22, 23, 24, 16 and 17 displaying pictures by using a light source other than the laser beam, and constituted so that the 1st picture display systems 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 and the 2nd picture display systems 21, 22, 23, 24, 16 and 17 can irradiate nearly the same range with light.
