PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive polymer having high conductivity and excellent flexibility, and to provide a solid electrolytic capacitor lowered in a leakage current, concerning to the conductive polymer and the solid electrolytic capacitor, respectively. SOLUTION: The conductive polymer having high conductivity and flexibility is obtained by containing at least two dopants therein, wherein at least one is an aromatic sulfonic acid anion. The solid electrolytic capacitor is realized to have a low ESR (equivalent series resistance) and a low leakage current by using the conductive polymer as a solid electrolytic layer 4 in the capacitor.
