PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition imparting conventional advantageous tightening effect of particles while eliminating faults such as imparting shininess on the skin when applying under the presence of a volatile oil, and leaving visually not beautiful scar on the skin after application. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the cosmetic composition having the tightening effect, eliminating conventional faults by not shining the skin and visually obscuring wrinkles and fine wrinkles, wherein the composition is obtained by treating colloidal particles in the presence of a mixture of a volatile oil and a nonvolatile oil, preferably 1:1 to 3:1 of the weight ratio.
