The writing board (4) is mounted detachable on a storage box (1) inside the passenger cabin, esp. on top of a box cover, integrated in that cover, or forming the cover itself. The cover/board is fixed in place by a hook-and-loop fastener, magnetic closure, bayonet lock, etc. The cover/board is connected to the box body via e.g. a hinge-like element (6). This has a fixing part (7) connected to box or board via a screw, rivet, or adhesive connection (8), and a holder part (9) fastened detachable to board or box. The writing board has a clip, etc. to hold papers, and the box may be a cooling box or similar.
