<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can perform concurrent printing by checking whether or not the concurrent printing can be performed, even if the user restricting function of restricting a user is set in the setting of a concurrent printing mode wherein images for a plurality of jobs are concurrently formed on a prescribed medium, and which can correctly manage a use state of each of the users of the plurality of jobs to be concurrently performed. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus wherein the concurrent printing mode can be set (S202; Y), when the user restrictions are set for the job (S203; Y), it is checked whether or not the concurrent printing can be performed. When the concurrent printing cannot be performed (S204; N), the concurrent printing can be released for the performance of normal printing (S205). When the concurrent printing can be performed (S204 ;Y), the concurrent printing is performed (S206).
