<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program for converting a print image into another form of the print image so that a print output can be carried out in consideration of an environment for allowing the recycle of print output paper on which the print image is printed and outputted, into copy paper in compliance with a designated eco-friendly print mode. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined whether there is a filled-in area with a predetermined size or larger in the print image.
