<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of printing and discharging a recording medium in a flat shape under such a condition as to be mounted on a computer apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 on the first practicing embodiment is equipped with a frame 2 with a hollow part 3a inside, an opening part 5 formed on one end face 2a of the frame 2 and connected to the hollow part 3a, and a thermal head 7 which can print an image on the recording medium 6. The frame 2 can be mounted on a hollow mounting part (bay) 17 formed on a computer apparatus 15 side, and the frame 2 is mounted on the mounting part 17, and while the recording medium 6 positioned in the hollow part 3a is carried in a flat shape, image printing is performed by the thermal head 7, and the recording medium 6 is discharged from the opening part 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
