PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera-shake correcting apparatus, in which a user is capable of designating a frame to be corrected, while avoiding a frame wherein camera-shake correction fails, and incompatibility can be eliminated between the frame wherein the camera-shake correction is performed accompanying magnification, and the other frame. SOLUTION: The camera-shake correcting apparatus for applying camera-shake correction to a moving image photographed by a camera, comprises a means of designating the range of a frame to apply camera-shake correction (correction frame range), a means of calculating a common area that commonly exists within the correction frame range, a camera shake correcting means of applying camera-shake correction processing to each of correction frames within the correction frame range with the magnification of the common area, and a magnification processing means for applying magnification processing to nearby frames, in front and back of the correction frame range.
