<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker having proper operability, and having high safety and high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The heating cooker has a heating means 14 corresponding to a heating part 15 for heating by mounting a cooking container provided on a top plate 12, and an operating part 18, for inputting the conditions for performing heating cooking corresponding to the heating means 14, is provided on the operator side on the top plate 12 face, and is structured so as to be surrounded by a part of a top plate 13 which is located at the outer periphery of the top plate 12 and located at a higher position than the upper face thereof.
