PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of degrading image quality by the occurrence of white streaks and density irregularities due to a feeding error of a recorded medium due to the occurrence of white stripes or density irregularities and the occurrence of color difference irregularities in a boundary between a printing area printed by forward printing and a printed area printed by backward printing in two-way printing. SOLUTION: A recording head 7 has nozzles 71 corresponding to a printing area of one scan and correction nozzles 72 on an area other than the printing area. By using the correction nozzles 72, the printing area is correctively moved in a subsidiary scanning direction to reduce density irregularities or white streaks due to a feeding error of a recorded medium 12.
