PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure a depth value from an observation point to a measuring object. SOLUTION: A pattern projection part 120 projects annular patterns to the measuring object 240. An imaging processing part 110 images those, and an edge point extracting part 132 extracts a desired edge point from a picked-up image. An edge space calculating part 134 calculates an edge space that is an interval of the annular patterns, based on coordinates of the edge point.
