PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage device, an information storage method, and a storage program allowing the storage of a file while preventing overwriting even if a storage destination includes the same name as that for the file or a folder storing the file. SOLUTION: This information storage device is provided with at least a file input means 10 inputting a file from a digital camera or a medium, a name acquisition means 12 acquiring the name of the file or the folder already stored in the storage destination, a name creation means 13 creating a new name when the storage destination includes the same name as that for the file/folder to be stored, and a file storage means 14 performing storage after changing a file name to a newly created name or storing the file in a folder formed with the new name when the name of the file/folder is coincident.
