PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a propeller shaft in which abnormal expansion/contraction and breakage of a boot for a universal joint provided to a propeller shaft are inhibited, and entry of water and the like into the boot is prevented. SOLUTION: In the propeller shaft 10 provided with the boot 32 for sealing a connection space 30 of the universal joint 20, a valve 50 for opening/closing an inside space 40 communicating with the connection space 30 of a divided shaft 12 to the outside is installed to one side of the divided shaft 12.
