PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and appropriately give friction to a piston rod in a friction giving structure of a hydraulic buffer. SOLUTION: In the friction giving structure of the hydraulic buffer 10, a friction member 20 for giving friction to the piston rod 14 is arranged between a rod guide 15 and an oil seal 16.
