PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive diamond sintered body tool and its manufacturing method having excellent chip discharge property. SOLUTION: The diamond sintered body tool, wherein a diamond sintered body material directly joining a diamond sintered body to cemented carbide base metal is brazed on a tool support base and graphite is detected on a flank of the diamond sintered body tool, is excellent in the chip discharge property and hard to break. In a Raman spectrum of the flank of the diamond sintered body tool, in particular, when peak intensity of the diamond is taken as Id and that of the graphite is taken as Ig, a peak intensity ratio (Ig/Id) of the peak intensity Ig of the graphite to the peak intensity Id of the diamond is set to 0.01-0.1, and the diamond sintered body tool is excellent in the chip discharge property.
