Disclosed is a piezoelectric element comprising a plurality of superimposed layers (11.1 to 11.n) which are made of a piezoelectric ceramic material and each of which is coated with at least one electrode (12.1 to 12.n) on one surface. Said electrodes (2.1 to 12.n) are alternatingly interconnected in an electrical manner by means of a through-connection (13, 14) that is guided through the layers (11.1 to 11.n). The inventive piezoelectric element is composed of modules (10.1, 10.2, 10.3) which are electrically interconnected with the aid of a plug-in connection (21, 22, 23, 24). |
