An improved flat jet nozzle, e.g. for dry ice jets, has the rounded supply pipe (1a) connected to the flat, rectangular outlet jet (1c) by an intermediate section (1b) which shapes the jet. The outlet jet is profiled into a number of parallel jets, formed by separating walls and/or by grooves and ridges in the inside walls of the jet. The individual jets can have a circular or rectangular cross section. The inside walls of the jet can include profiles for sound damping.
