<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely correct a shift of a sensitivity axial direction of each sensor element with respect to an ideal sensitivity axial direction to detect an acceleration precisely. <P>SOLUTION: This acceleration detector of the present invention includes an acceleration sensor 10 mounted with the at least two or more of sensor elements 21, 22, and a storage means for storing correction factors I, J, K, L determined based on measured results of shift angles θ<SB>1</SB>, θ<SB>2</SB>between the sensitivity axial directions 21a, 22a of the respective sensor elements 21, 22 in the acceleration sensor 10 under a mounted condition and the ideal sensitivity axial directions 21b, 22b of the respective sensor elements. Detection values M1, M2 of the respective sensor elements 21, 22 are correction-processed using the correction factors I, J, K, L to calculate corrected accelerations TYP1, TYP2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
