<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoclonal antibody in order to establish an assay system for detecting modification of an hNp95 gene concerning radiation sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: A whole length cDNA encoding a human nucleoprotein hNp95 gene involving radiation sensitivity, the human nucleoprotein hNp95 involving radiation sensitivity, a monoclonal antibody specifically binding to the nucleoprotein hNP95 and a reagent kit for inspection containing the monoclonal antibody are provided.
