<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a fraction defective at the time of manufacturing a chip resistor 1 which is constituted by forming a resistance film 5 between a pair of terminal electrodes 3 and 4 on the top surface of an insulating substrate 2, and respectively providing narrow width sections 7 and 8 electrically connected to the terminal electrodes 3 and 4 at both ends 5a and 5b of the resistance film 5 and, in addition, alternately providing two interdigital grooves 8 and 9 and two trimming grooves 10 and 11 into the resistance film 5 for forming an electricity flowing route in a zigzag state. <P>SOLUTION: The first and second interdigital grooves 8 and 9 are adjacently provided in the central part of the resistance film 5 in the lengthwise direction. In addition, the first trimming groove 10 is provided in the portion of the resistance film 5 between one end 5a of the film 5 and the second interdigital groove 9 and the second trimming groove 11 is provided in the portion of the resistance film 5 between the other end 5b of the film 5 and first interdigital groove 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
