摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate temperature differences between batteries in charging and discharging them to enhance power efficiency by efficiently and evenly cooling the respective batteries of a power supply device, and to simplify and miniaturize its structure. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of the batteries 23 of a power supply unit 20 are housed in a case 21 by forming spaces around the respective batteries; and a cooling unit 12 with a cooling fan 13 incorporated is connected to a vent 21a formed in the case 21 by interposing an air duct 14. The cooling fan 13 can carry out a first blast operation for feeding air into the case 21 and a second blast operation for sucking air from the inside of the case 21. Suction/exhaustion holes 26a and 27a are formed on the bottom of the case 21; a plurality of temperature sensors 25a-25c are installed at different positions in the case 21; information on the temperatures detected by the respective temperature sensors is inputted into a control circuit in a circuit board 30; and the blast operation of the cooling fan 13 is automatically changed over from one side to the other side of the first blast operation and the second blast operation, according to the temperature information (for instance, temperature difference). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
