PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging apparatus for reducing human error in puncturing a prostate. SOLUTION: An image of the prostate imitating the actual prostate is previously displayed in puncturing the prostate of a subject, and borderlines 402 for dividing the image into a plurality of sections and a list display table 403 with names of the sections as indexes are included in the display. Blanks indicating that the puncture is finished or not in each section are displayed in the list display table 403, and the result of determination whether the extracted tumor is benign or malignant is recorded and saved. Accordingly, the position of puncture is securely recorded in repeatedly puncturing the prostate, and repeated puncture at the same region is prevented. Further, a common database on the puncture of the prostate of the subject 1 is provided even if operators are different, so that the puncture without error can be achieved.
