PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide light device capable of realizing simplification of periodical checkup. SOLUTION: In this embodiment, a temperature sensor 71 is mounted in the vicinity of power connection terminals 41, 41 and lighting unit connection terminals 42, 42; information detected by the temperature sensor 71 is read by a control part 26; and when it exceeds a reference value, a switch 72 is operated to be brought into an open state. Thereby, since presence of abnormality of a power terminal board 4 can be confirmed only in appearance checkup of this guide light device 1, the load of a checkup worker can remarkably be reduced.
