PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy plate stock capable of yielding a uniform, electrolytically roughened face by electrochemical roughening treatment and capable of giving an excellent planographic printing plate at a reduced production cost, in a reduced time and in a simplified production process. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy plate stock for a planographic printing plate is a continuously cast rolled plate consisting of an aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy plate stock comprises 0.20 to 0.80 mass% Fe, and the balance aluminum and crystal grain refining elements with inevitable impurity elements. In the impurity elements, the content of Si is 0.02 to 0.30 mass% and the content of Cu is≤0.05 mass%, and the solid solution content of Si is 150 to 1,500 ppm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
