PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipolar circuit breaker improved so as to align, position, and incorporate current breaking units for respective poles into an envelope case in a simple assembly structure. SOLUTION: The multipolar circuit breaker is constructed by arraying the current breaking units corresponding to a plurality of poles, of which, contactor mechanism and structural assembly of arc-extinguishing chamber in a single row, and fitting it into an insulation case 2, and by combining a switching mechanism, an overcurrent pull-out unit, and an operating handle for liaising with the contactor mechanism of each unit, to the circuit breaking unit. The insulating cases adjacent to each other between the current breaking units are directly superposed on the alignment position and fitted into the outer case, and it is made so that a prescribed interval pitch L2 is set between terminals 7 pulled outside from the unit of each pole in the assembled state. As a concrete implementation mode, the insulating case of three-phase worth of current breaking units is constituted by overlapping divided cases 3, 5 arrayed at left and right outside with divided cases 4 with the adjacent divided cases tied and integrally formed, and this unit assembly is contained in the envelope 2.
