PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photosensitive material having excellent green shelf stability and resistance to color turbidity and also excellent resistance to dark fading of an image during storage. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photosensitive material having a photosensitive layer containing a silver halide emulsion on a supporting body, the photosensitive material contains a surfactant expressed by general formula (1):R-(CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>m</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>-Y-L<SB>1</SB>-COOX, and at least one photosensitive layer contains a dye forming coupler expressed by general formula (a). In general formula (1), R represents a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom, m represents an integer 3 to 16, Y represents a sulfur atom, SO<SB>2</SB>, SO or oxygen atom, L<SB>1</SB>represents a divalent group having≥3 carbon atoms constituting the group, and X represents a hydrogen atom or a cation.
