PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscoelasticity measuring device with the function of inspecting an automatically measurable temperature range without manual operation in measuring an unknown sample with an unknown measurable temperature range for viscoelasticity measurement. SOLUTION: This device comprises a measurable temperature detecting measurement controller 16 for inspecting the measurable temperature range of the sample by trial temperature control and AC application prior to actual measurement, and a main measurement controller 15 for performing a main measurement within the temperature range obtained by the detection and measurement by the controller 16.
