PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a ample space for a vibration control damper, to prevent the generation of a crack when using it for a curtain wall, and to secure transparency, while preventing breakdown of glass, in regard to a vibration control damper for a building. SOLUTION: The vibration control damper 1 is structured of a box body 4 formed by storing highly viscous silicon oil 2 in an inner space part 3 thereof and a slidable plate 5 sunken in the silicon oil 2 of the box body in a part thereof along the vibrating direction.
