PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braided cable-manufacturing apparatus which can automatically be operated for a prescribed time and can manufacture the braided wire at a greatly low cost, and to provide a method for automatically feeding a lubricant to the manufacturing apparatus. SOLUTION: This braided cable 27-manufacturing apparatus comprising bobbins 1a, 2a for delivering wires, a bobbin table 4 for holding the bobbins, a sliding track member 5 for rotating the bobbin table on an insulated core, a bobbin table-holding member 6 which is attached to the bobbin table, holds the track member 5 in cooperation with the bobbin table, and slidably holds the bobbin table on the track member 5, and a lubricant-feeding structure for feeding a lubricant to the sliding portion of a braiding machine for winding up wires 11, 12 delivered from the bobbins revolved on the insulated core to braid the wires in a net-like state is characterized by disposing a lubricant-feeding port for feeding the lubricant to the bobbin table-holding member and a lubricant reservoir connected to the lubricant-feeding port and used for storing the lubricant.
