PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat device for a bicycle which can be used for a long time even the child grows taller, can easily respond when the child having different height rides, and is suited for stable running of the bicycle by stabilizing the posture of the child. SOLUTION: The child seat device for the bicycle is equipped with a seat part (10) surrounded by a surrounding wall composed of right and left side wall (16) and a rear wall (14) which almost continue the rear of the right and left side and the rear. The child seat device is equipped with an uprising front wall (18) opening a pair of right and left leg-passing parts (20) opening to the side at the front of the seat part (10), a pair of right and left step support arms (26) extending downward from the leg-passing parts (20), and a pair of right and left steps (30) height adjustably held on the step support arms (26).
