<p>A knitting method of forming, substantially seamlessly, a drape around a collar when a knitwear is worn by increasing the number of courses around the collar. The knitted widths of a front body portion and a rear body portion are increased, starting at an underarm part to the front of a shoulder, in the state of the front body portion and the rear body portion separated from each other at both ends thereof so that the drape can be formed on the front body portion around the collar. A shoulder portion is formed such that the lowering of the shoulder is formed on the front and rear body portions by a returning knitting method, the front and rear neck lines are welt-stitched, and shoulder lines are joined to each other on the front and rear sides.</p> |
