<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure housing of an image forming apparatus that enables front and rear flank plates and frames to precisely and easily be assembled at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The structure housing comprises a front panel 5 where the front flank plate 16 and frames 12, 13, 14, and 15 are assembled, a rear panel 6 where the rear flank plate 20 and frames 17, 18, and 19 are assembled, a bottom panel 1 on which assembly is based, and frame material 7 and 8 which determine the span between the front and rear panels. Further, the frames are fitted at reference positions provided to the front flank plate 16 and rear flank plate 20.
