<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit reacquisition of printer option information for each printer driver even if printer option information is changed on a printer main body side in a PC environment in which a plurality of emulation printer drivers are installed. <P>SOLUTION: When configuration information is acquired from a plurality of printer drivers 11 and 12 to be selected and a print condition is set, a PDF direct print driver 13 generates a PJL command based on the print setting selected by a user, and the generated PJL command and PDF data to be printed are written in a spooler 5.
