<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the fluctuation of toner density of a developing solution in a container. <P>SOLUTION: Squeegee rollers 51-53 are oppositely arranged between a primary transfer position 44 and a secondary transfer position 45 on an intermediate transfer roller 41 so as to be reciprocally moved between a touch position on which the rollers 51-53 can touch a developing solution on the intermediate transfer roller 41 and a separated position on which the rollers 51-53 can not touch the developing solution. When a roller driving motor is rotated by a motor driving part on the touch position, the squeegee rollers 51-53 are rotated at peripheral velocity almost equal to that of the intermediate transfer roller 41 in a direction following the intermediate transfer roller 41. When the squeegee rollers 51-53 are located on the tough position, liquid carrier is stripped off from the intermediate transfer roller 41. The stripped liquid carrier is removed by a cleaning blade 54, recovered to a receiver 55 by natural drop and returned to a tank 33 through a pipe 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
