PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller that realizes a remote control system capable of control that an operator intends. SOLUTION: The remote controller is provided with a reception part 22 which receives a signal from a remote control transmitter 11, a processing part 35 which is connected to the reception part 22 and also connected to a video recording device 19 as well, and a transmission part 26 which is connected to the processing part 35 and transmits a signal toward a karaoke machine 17. The processing part 35, after processing the signal outputted from the reception part 22 as predetermined according to a processing instruction table 30 stored in a memory part 29 and the state of the video recording device 19, transmits the same signal as the signal that the reception part 22 receives from the transmission part 26 toward the karaoke machine 17 by using same infrared signals 12 and 37.
