PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of the interaction (hydridization or the like) of a detecting substance and a target substance in a substrate for bioassay such as a DNA chip, a protein chip or the like. SOLUTION: The reaction region 12 of the substrate 1 for bioassay (DNA chip or the like), which is provided with at least a reaction region 12 becoming the interaction field between the detecting substance and the target substance, is irradiated with microwaves to regulate the temperature of the reaction region 12.
