摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for detecting knocking flaw in gears capable of detecting concurrently the presence of the knocking flaw in the large number of gears and a generation position thereof to reduce inspection work manhours for detecting th knocking flaw in the large number of gears such as speed change gears for T/M, without increasing a device cost for the knocking flaw detection. SOLUTION: When detecting the presence of the knocking flaw in the gears of a plurality of stages attached to two paired rotary shafts arranged in parallel along axial directions of the rotary shafts and meshed each other and the generation position thereof, vibration of the each rotary shaft is detected and a rotation angle of the each rotary shaft is detected while rotating the paired rotary shafts to mesh the gears of the plurality of stages, and the the presence of the knocking flaw in the gears and the generation position thereof are detected based on vibration detection waveforms and detected values of the rotation angles.
