发明名称 RADIATION DETECTOR FOR DIAGNOSING NUCLEAR MEDICINE IMAGE AND IMAGE DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector for diagnosing nuclear medicine image improved in position resolution and energy resolution, a device provided with the detector, especially a positron emission tomography (PET) device, and a Compton camera provided with the detector. SOLUTION: By using a radiation detector calculating a position where introduced radiation causes ionization of the detector constituting material and generates carrier as three-dimensional information in the detector, spacial position resolution is drastically improved. For the detector, an HPGe detector is enumerated. The HPGe detector has a characteristic of high energy resolution so that it can distinguish primary photons from scattered photons, and can improve measurement accuracy and sensitivity.
