PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new thiadiazole-containing difluoroalkenes having high pest-controlling activities. SOLUTION: The thiadiazole-containing difluoroalkenes are represented by the formula (wherein, R is hydrogen, a halogen, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an alkoxyalkyl, an alkylthioalkyl, a haloalkyl, an alkoxy, an alkylthio, a phenyl which may optionally be substituted, a benzyl which may optionally be substituted, or a heteroaryl which may optionally be substituted and which contains at least one heteroatom selected from N, O and S; m is an integer of 3-10; and n is 0, 1 or 2).
