PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free-form surface precision machining tool, attaining dispersion of a moving locus of a tool machining part contact surface, little varied moving speed, continuation of sharpness of the tool machining part by driving torque, uniform abrasion and a self-correcting function, and also lowering the wearing speed, and maintaining and continuing the form accuracy of the tool machining part, thereby efficiently precision machining a free-form surface using a 3-axis NC machining tool having flexibility. SOLUTION: In this free-form surface precision machining tool 10, the lower end part is brought into contact with the surface to be machined by rotation around the axis (z) to perform precision machining. The tool includes a drum-like tool 12 having a rotating axis (x) orthogonal to the axis (z) and driven to rotate around the rotating axis (x). The drum-like tool has a projecting surface machining surface 13 of a circular-arc rotor made by rotating a circular arc with a diameter r taking the point of intersection of the axis (z) and the rotating axis (x) as the center around the rotating axis (x). The projecting surface machining surface 13 is brought into contact with the surface to be machined to perform precision machining, and the projecting surface machining surface is rotated around the orthogonal axis (x) to disperse the machining position of the projecting surface machining surface.
