The invention relates to a sealing skirt-equipped lining for a piece of equipment for a motor vehicle, and the corresponding piece of equipment and motor vehicle. The inventive lining comprises a face (19) which is used to cover a layer of foam and a sealing skirt (25) which, during the expansion of said foam, is pinned thereby against the walls of a foam-receiving cavity which is disposed in a support frame. The aforementioned cover face (19) is defined by a peripheral contour (21) and extends beyond said contour in the form of a sealing skirt (25) comprising one free edge (35). Moreover, the peripheral contour (21) of the cover face (19) comprises at least one part (31) having a smaller radius of curvature (R1) than that (R2) of an opposing part (39) of the free edge (35). The invention is suitable, for example, for motor vehicle dashboards. |
